Daily Provisions

A new neighborhood gem developed by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality, Daily Provisions was still in its infancy when we were brought in to ideate on possibilities for extending the brand. The best part of working on this project… first dibs on the maple glazed crullers!

Daily Provisions quickly became known for its iconic donuts, handmade breads, roasted chickens and warm atmosphere. But it wanted to be even more.

BREAD studied the foot traffic patterns of the neighborhood, the rhythms of its residents, the offerings within the surrounding blocks. We saw opportunities to make DP an integral part of the lives that passed by each day.

The coffee bar turned into a wine bar at night. This place could reinvent itself and lure you in at any hour of the day; it just needed someone to tell its story.

Adding a curated artisan marketplace, ideating on more inviting seating, activating the sidewalk,  and featuring seasonal offerings were a few ways we suggested to create unique brand standards for DP.
